Community setup
Create and maintain a community workspace with its own identity, visibility, membership, and operational settings.
Product features
StaffTilt helps teams organize staff, recruit for open roles, review applicants, carry decisions into the staff directory, and retain the operational history behind the work.
01 · Staff organization
Keep the people, roles, permissions, and role hierarchy that define your staff operation in one community-scoped workspace.
Create and maintain a community workspace with its own identity, visibility, membership, and operational settings.
See current community membership and staff records without rebuilding the roster from disconnected conversations.
Define community-specific roles, order them into a hierarchy, and update that structure as responsibilities change.
Control management actions through role permissions, assign eligible roles, and record promotions or demotions.
Scoped by community: staff management, role assignment, and permission checks apply within the community where the action is performed.
Next: recruiting02 · Recruiting
Define what the team needs, ask questions that fit the opening, and preserve each submission for authorized reviewers.
Create job posts for real staffing needs, update their details, and open, close, or reopen recruiting when needed.
Connect an opening to one or more available community roles so applicants can indicate the roles they are applying for.
Build and order the questions required for each opening instead of relying on a single generic application form.
Collect the selected roles and question responses as one application record tied to the opening and community.
03 · Application management
Applicants and authorized reviewers work from the same application context while private content remains protected by application and community access rules.
Review submitted answers, selected roles, current status, messages, and supporting files from the application record.
Authorized reviewers can accept or reject pending applications; applicants can cancel their own eligible applications.
Applicants and authorized community reviewers can communicate in a conversation attached to the application.
Upload supporting files to application messages. Access-controlled, signed links protect download and streaming routes.
Track the last-read point for application conversations and surface unread conversation counts to participating users.
Record acceptance and rejection notifications with read state for applicants and relevant staff recipients.
04 · Staff onboarding and history
Acceptance is not a disconnected note. An authorized reviewer selects an eligible community role, and StaffTilt creates, restores, or updates the applicant’s community membership with that assigned role.
Responses and selected opening roles retained
Decision recorded and applicant notified
Community membership created or restored
Selected eligible staff role applied
